  • OLLI at UCI bylaw revisions. Last week’s KIT mail had an attachment of a DRAFT copy of the OLLI bylaws with proposed changes from the Bylaws Committee. If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, we will hold a bylaw Q&A meeting this Friday, May 6, from 9 to10 AM at the Woodbridge Onken Classroom. If you plan to attend, you must call the OLLI office (949-451-1403) by the end of the day today to let us know you are coming. Our annual meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 31, where we will have a vote on the bylaw changes by the membership.


  • The Spring University Club Forum, co-sponsored by OLLI, will continue next Wednesday, May 11, with Emeritus History Professor William Schonfeld talking about Challenges to UCI – Budget, Politics, and Growth. Buffet lunch begins at 11:15 AM, and is $11.50 for U Club members and $13.50 for non-members.   • OLLI Technology Boot Camp: Do you have trouble using e-mail? Or do you just want to learn how to use it more effectively? If so then join us at a Technology Boot Camp where you’ll learn how to use the most popular e-mail functions, such as forwarding messages; using Reply versus Reply All; using Copy versus Blind Copy; sorting messages by Date, Sender and Subject; creating folders to organize your messages; and more.
