It is common for homeowners to suddenly discover that the home that once fit perfectly, no longer does. Whether you are caring for a loved one or planning ahead for yourself, you can avoid a decision-making crisis by learning about your housing options and having a plan.

Tuesday, March 5: Overview of Options. Levels of care for staying at home with support services, active communities, assisted living, skilled care. Discussion will include pros and cons; costs; when to stay or move; issues that propel and impede; resistance; fears; denial; and talking with the children.

Tuesday, April 2: Wrapping Up the Decision Process.  Council on Aging – OC; the Importance of Community Care; Licensing for senior care communities; Let’s face it —   we’d all rather age in our own homes! Tips on making our homes more user-friendly.
